Come join us as we celebrate Samiljeol, or Independence Movement Day in South Korea, commemorating the 1919 March 1st Movement. This day honors the peaceful protests against Japanese colonial rule and celebrates the nation’s fight for independence and sovereignty.
Ceremony starts at 11:30am at the Korean Cultural Center on 4713 W. Gate City Blvd. Korean rice cakes and snacks will be provided to attendees.
